Following one more successful year of Cambridge’s renowned i-Teams programme, selected teams will be pitching their ideas and presenting posters to a mixed business/academic audience at the TVC 2009 In i-Teams, a group of students collaborates with researchers and industry mentors to determine the commercial potential of their projects. i-Teams offer the unique opportunity for students to build go-to-market strategies for Cambridge inventions, getting a taste of brainstorming, identifying the real-world benefits of new technologies, and contacting potential customers |

Amy Mokady, i-Teams Programme DirectorSince the early '90s, Amy Mokady has held a number of senior sales, marketing and business development roles at some of the mobile industry's leading companies, working with both start-up and multi-national companies. She was a co-founder of STNC Ltd., a mobile start-up acquired by Microsoft in 1999. Following roles at Microsoft, QUALCOMM and Hutchison 3G, more recent start-ups include Pogo Mobile Solutions and Light Blue Optics. As CMI Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Amy was responsible for adapting the MIT i-Teams programme to meet the needs of Cambridge University, and has run the programme in Cambridge since its inception in 2006. She is a Director and mentor of several early-stage technology start-ups, as well as a Director of the Greater Cambridge Partnership. |
