Yulia TomashevskayaMy name is Yulia Tomashevskaya and I am student in the BA International Business program at Anglia Ruskin University. Apart from studies, I want to engage myself voluntarily and therefore participate in other activities such as the IBM Business Challenge for instance and just recently I have joined the Business Operations Team of CUTEC. I am interested in business, economics, different cultures and people. Furthermore, I am open-minded, helpful and like to take on responsibility.
Prior to studies, I completed the International Baccalaureate simultaneously to the German Abitur in a bilingual school. Moreover, I took part in several extracurricular activities. For instance I worked voluntarily for UNICEF where I organised events and also was recommended to serve as a tutor for younger students.
During University time, I have completed two placements with Robert-Bosch-GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. Furthermore, I was interning for Hapag-Lloyd America in New Jersey for a period of six months. Both my work experiences and the various modules at University have provided me with a valuable insight into the processes of a globally operating business. Having the chance to live in different countries throughout my life, I gained experience in various cultural environments.
