Register for this exciting “Interactive Workshop”, hosted by CUTEC. This workshop will be for a small group of people (max. 16) to make it as interactive as possible, so please register on time. The workshop will be run by Freddi Scheib from CUTEC (Chief Innovation Officer). She won last year’s CUE 5k Angel Investor Award for her 1-minute pitch and Founder.org launch event’s 5-minute pitch competition. During this workshop, the basics of public speaking will be discussed and the 8+ years of improvisation, sketch comedy, and film writing experience of a New York actress turned Genomics PhD student will be used to help fellow entrepreneurs feel more comfortable taking the spotlight for that all-important pitch. There will be group and individual exercises so be prepared to be on your feet.
Some of the questions that will be answered
– How can the basic tenets of Improv help me feel more comfortable pitching my product?
– How can I improve my impression?
– How can I get my message across in a clear way?
– How can I make sure that I do not go over my time?
– How can I interact with the audience?
Freddi Scheib (CUTEC): As a writer-producer at Shafted Writers Productions, Freddi organized and oversaw all aspects of film production from idea to audience.
