Technology Ventures Conference 2009 - Do not miss!

This year, CUTEC's major event, the Technology Venture Conference (TVC), will be held on 11th June 2009, in Cambridge, UK. To reflect a time of important changes in the way we generate and utilize energy, and in the way we access data and connect to everyone else on this planet, the TVC 2009 is focusing on 2 main themes: clean technology, and technological innovations that foster connectivity.

TVC 2009: "A Bright Forecast for Disruptive Technologies"

The conference's aim is to create a platform for the entrepreneurial community in Cambridge, where academia can meet the business world of investors and work together towards a common goal: implement today the technologies that will transform our lives tomorrow.

Cambridge University in Top 3 Entrepreneurial Schools Globally

CUTEC, being the leading entrepreneurship club in the campus, enables Cambridge University to rank 3rd worldwide, after Stanford and MIT, in the first data-driven leaderboard of entrepreneurial schools performed by YouNoodle.com, an online platform for early-stage ventures and university innovation.

Workshop on "Open Innovation" Successfully Completed

The first CUTEC event of this academic year was successfully completed on 12th November at the Judge Business School.

A panel of 5 distinguished speakers coming from different backgrounds has discussed in detail on the topic of open innovation, sharing with the audience their views on the interaction between a start-up and larger companies.

The event, sold out days in advance, has seen the attendance of well beyond 100 people (being the seating capacity of the lecture theatre), comprising a mixed audience of students, researchers, and professionals. The panel discussion was followed by an enjoyable networking session over food and drinks at the Browns Bar & Brasserie, Cambridge, UK.
